Bent Gabrielsen Pedersen was among the first group of students to be trained at the Danish College of Jewellery and Silversmithing. In his long career he made a large number of necklaces, bracelets and a few brooches, primarily for Hans Hansen, where he was artistic director until 1969. After leaving the Hans Hansen company, Gabrielsen set up his own workshop called "Gabrielsen's Guldsmedie". His classic designs were based on the boomerang and other elliptical shapes.
